I suspect the person below is your William Carr (spelled Karr here). I deduced that they were married in Ohio since that's where their first child was born. You can find this by going to the LDS site below, typing in William Carr for first and last name, Event = marriage, Year = 1849, Year Range = exact. His birth place and age match, her birth age matches but this says she was born in New York (but see below). There are clickable links in blue that give additional information on his parents.

William KARR Male Birth: 1828 Sempronius, Cayuga, New York

Parents:
Father: John KARR Family
Mother: Sarah STIVERS

Marriages:
Spouse: Jane Family
Marriage: About 1849 Chester, Meigs, Ohio

I also found William Carr and Jane living in Meigs County, Ohio in the 1850 census, which would be shortly after their marriage. He lists his birthplace as NY and her's as OH. Living next door to them is a family named Stivers, which matches the information in the LDS record as his mother's maiden name.
