I am descended from David R. Porter b OH 1819 and we think there is a connection to Phineas. Others in my line are descended from Otha Porter, and all migrated from MD to Monroe County OH to Appanoose. Otha's descendants still live in Appanoose. Please contact me directly at my email address.
