HI ,These are not my people ,but I found their names in the "History of Appanoose County 1878 "
the book says
W.H Bradley farmer, stock dealer and fruit grower,Sec.6;P.O.Centerville,born in Clark county Ind.in 1826;at the age of 8 years ,removed with his father to Morgan Co.Ind.;remained at home until 22 years of age.In 1848 ,married Martha Elliott ,who was born in Pulaski Co.Ky.in 1826 ;her parents Fountain B and Martha Elliott, returned to Clarke Co.where they died, only a week intervening between their deaths.Mr and Mrs Bradley removed to Owen Co.Ind..In 1856,came to this county ,purchased 180 acres of land two miles north of Centerville and engaged in farming;in 1859 removed to their present residence, and own 705 acres of land, valued at $25 per acre. They have seven Children,Sarah E,J.R.,Melvina J,Alvira,Patrick H,Chas E,and Wm.Albert. Mr and Mrs B and 4 elder Childrenare members of the M.E.Church;the parents have belonged to that Church for 30 years.Mr.B. is a member of the A.F.&A.M.No.313 of Numa.I have only the Washigton Township and Wells Township Cemetery books and did not find any Bradleys in them.
I said these were not my people ,but they might be through wife Martha Elliott born in Pulaski Kentucky. My people (Edwards,Elliotts ,Elam,Guinn )were from the Laurel and Pulaski County Kentucky areas ,some of them migrating to Appanoose County Iowa and Shulyer Co.Missouri.I cannot at this point connect Martha Elliott with my Elliott`s as I do not recongize her parents names.hope this helps.Tami
