Caroline (steiner-miller) and Andrew Schwarz
lived in Paint Creek and Lansing alternately during 1863-1885. I have data to support this.
They moved to Renville Cty MN where they died in 1898-99.Family history says they ran a tavern called Yellow Bird in Iowa, but I can find no record of that. They raised 7 children from their union plus 2 from each of their previous marriages.
Both immigrated in 1850's: Andrew from Prussia (alone) and Caroline from Wurtemburg GY (with her family).
Andrew steamboated on the Mississippi before settling down to farm and marry.
Caroline was married to August Miller and had
one daughter, Wilhemine in 1859, we assume he
died during the civil war. Andrew was also married to an unknown lady who also must have died
and they had a son, Michael born in 1857.ANY INFORMATION would be helpful re:
Andrew Schwarz/Schwartz b 1829
Caroline Steiner/Miller b 1837
her father Jacob F. Steiner 1800
her family Jacob F. Jr., Jacobina Friedricka, Maria Louise
