DIED - At the residence of L.M. Elmendorf in this city on Sunday, May 5th, Dr. Andrew Farrell, aged sixty-one years.

The deceased was formerly a resident of Lansing, but for the past ten years has made Mt. Vernon, Indiana, his home. His health having broken under a long and protracted bronchial affection, he came last year to spend his remaining days with his relatives in this city. His disease wore on him gradually, but the final attack was brief and rapid.

Dr. Farrel had been a professing christian for thirty years, and died in the full hope of a glorious immortality. The funeral services on Monday were conducted by the various clergy of the place, and were solemn and impressive. His remains were buried in the new Cemetery.
