Mrs. E.P. Farrell, mother of Mrs. L.M. Elmendorf, died at her daughter's residence yesterday afternoon. She was 80 years of age last August and although in failing health for a long time was confined to herbed but a month.

She was one of our pioneers, coming from Mt. Vernon, Ind., the last time over twenty years ago.

Her funeral occurs today at 4 p.m., and she will be laid in Oak Hill beside her husband who preceded her in death nineteen years ago.
