Margaret Faye, daughter of Claude and Georgia McCoy, was born at Newark, Mo., Sept. 28, 1906, and died at the hospital at Redfield, S.D., Sept. 9, 1927, her age being 20 years, 11 months and 11 days.
A good part of her life was spent in and near Waukon, but June 22, 1925, she was united in marriage with LeRoy B. Walton, and they made their home at Seneca, S.D.
For two years, two months and eighteen days they walked together in happiness, and then Faye was called away to that other life, in the country just beyond the river, leaving husband and the dear little babe for a time, until God shall say it is enough, and they shall go to join her on the other shore.
Besides husband and baby, she leaves father, mother, brother Gale and sister Velma. Many sorrowing hearts will follow her to the resting place in the Odd Fellow's cemetery at Rossville.
Funeral services were held at the Rossville church, Friday, conducted by Rev. Van Nice.
