Mrs. S. Morgan received yesterday a letter from Mr. J.L. Fravel, of Chicago, announcing the death of his wife, who was formerly known among us as Miss Nellie Simonds and sister of Mrs. R.G. Edwards.

She died on Tuesday, the 4th inst., of affecton of the throat after an agonizing illness of four weeks duration.

The remains were taken to LaPorte, Ind., for interment.
