DEATH - Inadvertently we failed to note the death, at Waukon, on the 21st ult., of Mrs. Elizabeth Tovey, wife of John Tovey, of the Mason House.

The deceased was a daughter of Jacob Goodykoontz, in times past most favorably known in this county, and now residing in Tennessee.

Her illness was of long duration, and death resulted from hemorrhage of the lungs. The funeral was attended by a large concourse of people, a token of the very high regard in which she was held by the whole community.
