ACCIDENT - About two weeks since, two boys, Albert Tollefson and John Johnson, on the farm of Ole Tollefson, 1 1/2 miles North of Rossville, while riding a team of horses to the barn, carelessly left off the bridles. Passing through a gate, not wide enough to admit both horses at once, the harness caught upon the gate posts, and both boys were thrown to the ground.
Albert was supposed to be but slightly injured, and John seriously hurt, but, a week since, Albert died from the effects of his injuries.
Boys, in the habit of riding without bridles, will learn a lesson from this unfortunate affair. We are indebted to the forethought of Mr. Bryson for the particulars.
