Keith Duane Henderson, 63, of Stuart died of complications of cancer Sunday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at First Congregational church in Stuart, with burial at South Oak Grove Cemetery there.

Mr. Henderson was born in Anita and had lived there as a youth. He had lived in Guthrie Center two years before moving to Stuart in 1962. He was a retired purchasing agent for Midland Tile CO. in Redfield and was an Air Force veteran. He was a member of Anita Church of Christ, was a Cub Scout and Boy Scout leader, and enjoyed garage sales, camping and bingo.

He is survived by his wife, Joan; three sons, Jeff and Jim, both of Stuart, and David of Arthur; his mother, Zella Henderson of Stuart; and two grandchildren.

Friends may call after 1 p.m. today at Ruppert Funeral Home in Stuart, where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Keith Henderson Memorial Trust. ~ The Des Moines (IA) Register 26 March 2002.
