Frances Burns steam thrasher, undated
This pic was in my grandmothers picture collection -- so the thrashers would either be from the Patterson Creek area or the Hanover area. My dad said that Mr. Burns owned the thrashing machine and the local farmers would rent the machine. About twenty or so farmers would get together and go farm to farm helping each other out.
