Paving Highway #9 1931 |
"These photos were taken in 1931 when they were paving Hwy. 9 from Churchtown to Lansing. They were in my aunt's album, but she didn't write down any of their names." ..... Janet Koozer.
It is unknown if any of the workers were from Allamakee county, but if you recognize any of the faces, email the Allamakee co. coordinator so they can be added to the photo.

March 16, 2011, Janet Koozer writes: "I found a box of momentoes from my aunt and uncle. In her Autograph book I found the names of the pavement workers listed. under "Paving Friends" 1931:
