Elizabeth, born 1863 & died November 12, 1905 in Minneapolis, MN. She married James Lawrence Riley on May 8, 1888 in Immaculate Conception church in Lansing. Rev. Haxmeier performed the ceremony. Witnesses were Henry Becker & Rosa Riley. Note: their marriage certificate at Allamakee county courthouse gives his middle initial as 'S'. James L. Riley was born in Lansing in 1861 and died in 1936. He worked as a laborer in Minneapolis, MN.
J.P. Becker was called to Minneapolis Sunday by a telegram announcing that his daughter, Mrs. Jas. Riley who had been a victim of typhoid for several weeks, was very low and not expected to live. He left on a freight in the afternoon but did not reach her before she died sometime that night. Death was the result of a relapse. She was the mother of eight children. Burial took place at Minneapolis this morning. Henry and Miss Lucy, brother and sister of the deceased, joined the father there yesterday, the mother being prostrated at her home in this township over the sad affair and unable to attend the funeral. The sympathy of all who know them go out to the sorrowing husband, motherless little ones and other relatives in this greatest of all earthy losses. (Lansing newspaper)

Henry W., born 1872 in Lansing & died in 1928, burial in Gethsemane cemetery. He married Margaret Kenney on May 23, 1916 in Lansing. Margaret was born 1879 in Lansing and died 21 April 21, 1966. They owned 180 acres in section 34 of Lansing township, route 3.

Barbara, born November 6, 1874 in Lansing & died May 11, 1967 in the Lutheran hospital, LaCrosse, Wisconsin. She is buried in Gethsemane cemetery.

Mary, born March 12, 1877 & died on September 23, 1905. She married Joseph W. Duchene. He was born in Michigan abt 1876 and died in 1953. Joseph W. & Mary were living in Brooklyn, Hennepin co. Minnesota in June 1905.
Mrs. J.P Becker was called to Minneapolis by telegram, Wednesday, owing to the dangerous illness of her daughter, Mrs. Duchene, who died Saturday of typhoid fever. Deceased will be remembered as Mary Becker. She was married almost four years ago and is survived by the husband and one child, besides father, mother, brothers and sisters of the township, and a sister, Mrs. James Riley of Minneapolis. The remains were brought here yesterday and after being blessed at the Catholic church were laid to rest at the Gethsemane cemetery. (Lansing newspaper)
John Henry, born June 3, 1879 and died June 2, 1950. He married Mary Elizabeth "Mamie" Hammel 23 November 23, 1915 in St. Joseph's Catholic church, New Albin, Iowa. Rev. Edmund Ryan performing the ceremony. Witnesses were Henry Becker & Urusal Opitz. Mamie was born November 5, 1889 & died April 16, 1947.

Relatives and friends of
John Becker were shocked to hear of his sudden death
which occurred at his home in Lansing township about
seven o'clock Friday evening from a heart attack. He had
been in failing health for some time and was in town only
the day before. He was born June 3rd, 1879, in Lansing
township, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John P. Becker.
He attended the schools of the county and spent most of
his life hereabouts. On Nov 23rd, 1915 he was united in
marriage to Miss Mary Hammell, at St. Joseph's Church,
New Albin. She preceded him in death a few years ago;
left to mourn his passing are four daughters; Mrs. Vivian
(Anna) Zoll, Mrs. Leo (Theresa) McCabe, Waukon; Mrs.
Ursula Quanrude, Decorah; Mrs. Garland (Elizabeth)
Burroughs; three sons, Aloysious, Joseph, and George who
are at home. Other immediate survivors included his two
sister, Miss Barbara of Lansing, and Mrs. Joe (Lucy)
Chamberlain, Chicago, and fourteen grandchildren.
Deceased was a life long member of Immaculate Conception
Church, Lansing, an energetic farmer who was well known
in the auctioneering field for many years. The funeral
services were held at I.C. Church at 9 o'Clock Monday
morning with the Mass of Requiem celebrated by Father
Sharphoff who also officiated at the graveside in
Gethsemane. Casket bearers were Harold Troendle, William
Lenz, William Hammell, Charles Hammell, John Haas, and

Lucy Christian, born November 14, 1882. She married Joseph Chamberlain on July 15, 1911 at Corpus Christi church, Chicago, Cook county, Ill. He was born October 13, 1886 in Superior, Wisconsin and died March 29, 1952.
