Forrest "Frosty" and Virginia "Gina" (Roeber) Sires were married September 27, 1940, in Waverly, Iowa. The event was hosted by their children and families, Mr. and Mrs. Barry Sires and Shauna, Tulare, South Dakota; Mr. and Mrs. James (Lanette) Herrmann, Onalaska, Wisconsin; and Mr. and Mrs. Craig (Karen) Lee, Errin, Heather and Stephanie, New Albin. On July 20, 1946, Walt and Phyllis (Meyer) Breeser were married at St. Peter's Evangelical and Reformed Church, New Albin, by the Rev. Paul Franzmeier. To this union four children were born: Barbara, Steven, Beverly and Galen. Steven was taken from the family circle on April 4, 1996, after battling leukemia. The Breesers have lived all of their 50 years of married life in New Albin, where Walt is the town barber. They have nine grandchildren.
