Evelyn Zach Joins Cadet Nurse Corps
Evelyn Zach, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Zach, 420 Kirkwood boulevard, has joined the Cadet Nurse corps at Iowa City.
She was graduated from Davenport high school in January 1944, where she had taken a commercial course. She has been employed at the Jacobs Dental Supply, before leaving for school.
Miss Zach's nursing course will take three years, and during that time she hopes to prepare herself for overseas duty. She wants to specialize in pediatrics.
She has one brother in the service, Pvt. Russell Zach, at Camp Blanding, Fla.
