A group of WAVE recruits from this area left the Rock Island recruiting station early today for Hunter college, New York, for a six week indoctrination course.

DELORES WORTHAN IS ASSIGNED TO WASHINGTON, D.C.
WAVE Delores Worthan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marion Worthan, 2114 Highland avenue, has been assigned to duty in Washington, D.C. after completing her basic training in the WAVES at Hunter college, New York City. She was employed at the Rock Island arsenal as a typist prior to being called for training Nov.1.
