Patricia E. Wisecarver, seaman, second class, in the SPARS, is a quartermaster in ship's company at Palm Beach, Fla. She is the daughter of Gregg L. Wisecarver, 5709 University ave.

Mr. and Mrs. L.G Wisecarver, 5709 University ave. announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Patricia, seaman, first class, of the SPARS to Lt. Richard F. Carter, U.S Signal corps, son of Frank A. Carter of Washington, D.C. The wedding will take place this spring.
Miss Wisecarver attended Drake university where she became a member of the Delta Gamma sorority. She is stationed at Palm Beach, Fla.
Lieutenant Carter was graduated from St. Albans Preparatory school and Virginia Polytechnical Institute. He has been stationed at Sacramento, Calif, and now is on a short assignment at Fort Benning, Ga.
