Jeanne Constance Whitaker was born Mar. 9, 1922 to James C. and Ione L. Whisler Whitaker. She died Jan. 12, 1996 and is buried in Washington Veterans Home Cemetery, Retail, WA.
Lt. Whitaker served in World War II with the U.S. Army Nurse Corps and served at O’Reilly General Hospital and 30th Field Hospital, 240th General Hospital and 179th Station Hospital in the European Theater of Operations.
