Miss M. Eva Weires, 415 Walnut court, entertained at a dinner at Black's tearoom Wednesday evening in honor of her niece, WAVE Yeoman First Class Frances Weires, formerly of Waverly, now stationed at Washington, D.C., who is home on leave.
Guests were Mrs. Frank A. Weires, Waverly, sister-in-law of Miss Weires, and Mrs. Marshall Carpenter, Miss Josephine Weires, all of Waverly, Mrs. Elvin Korn of Michigan City, Ind., and Mrs. Dale J Quin, 415 Walnut court, all nieces of Miss Weires.
