Gertrude Marguerite Walter Bartlett--“Mrs. B”--was born Jan. 16, 1914 to Edward Amos and Carrie Cockerill Walter. She died Feb. 17, 2002 in La Crosse, WI.
Petty Officer Walter served in World War II with the U.S. Navy at the U.S. Naval Training and Distribution Center, Treasure Island, San Francisco, CA where she met and married Douglas C. Bartlett.
