Nurses Get Call to Duty
Appointed as army nurses through the Red Cross, Miss Marguerite Martin of Westfield and Miss Gladys Trunnell of Milford, both graduates of St. Joseph's school of nursing here, will leave April 14 to begin service at Camp Chaffee, Arkansas. They were notified to report for duty by officials of the Seventh corps area. Since their graduation from the nursing school three years ago, they have been living at 1201 18th street.

Two other Milford young women are in the service of their country. They are Lieut. Betty Pugh, the first nurse from the county to enlist and who has this week been transferred from Fort Leonard Wood to Camp Crowder, Co., and Lieut. Gladys Trunnell. The latter is stationed at Camp Chaffee, Ark.

Gladys Iraline Trunnell was born May 15, 1917 to Albert J. and Opal Larson Trunnell. She died May 2, 1973 and is buried in Laurel Land Memorial Park, Dallas, TX.
