Phyllis Sullivan to Enter Waves Dec. 15
Miss Phyllis Sullivan, daughter of Mrs. T.M. Sullivan, 417 Ninth street NW, was worn into the WAVES at Des Moines last Tuesday. She has been order to report for duty on Dec. 15. Miss Sullivan is a graduate of St. Patrick's high school and is employed the Link Belt Speeder company.

Miss Phyllis Sullivan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T.M. Sullivan, 417 Ninth street NW, who has just been graduated from the A and M university at Stillwater, Okla., has been promoted to yeoman third class in the Waves. She is visiting her parents before she leaves for new assignment. Miss Sullivan is a graduate of St. Patrick's high school and was employed in the Link-Belt Speeder corporation office before her enslitment. Yeoman Sullivan has two brothers in the army.

AS ONE YEOMAN TO ANOTHER .. Phyllis Sullivan, 417 Ninth street NW, of the Waves, took time out last week to explain the mysteries of navy yeomanry to Betty Brown, 1220 Third avenue SE, who hopes to be a yeoman soon.
Miss Brown will be sworn into the women's auxiliary to the navy at Cedar Rapids' first mass enlistment of women into the military organization scheduled for Friday evening, May 28, at the Cedar Rapids Memorial coliseum.
