Recently discharged from the WAVES at Pearl harbor, Dorothea Shepard, Des Moines, Ia., aerographer's mate, first class, plans to remain in Hawaii to teach kindergarten. According to navy information accompanying Miss Shepard's picture, she is the first WAVE to be discharged overseas under the navy's point system.
