COMMISSIONED
Glatha Rorah, registered nurse, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roger Rorah of Emeline, Ia., has enlisted in the navy nurse corps and received her commission as an ensign. Under active orders, she will report to Portsmouth, Va., on Feb. 16.
A graduate of Delmar high school, Ensign Rorah received her nurses training at St. Luke's Methodist hospital, Cedar Rapids, Ia. She had been employed at Glen Cove, Long Island, N.Y. for the past four months.
