Phyllis Laree Wegele, apprentice seaman who is taking her WAVE boot training at Hunter college, now is in Brooklyn naval hospital recovering from an appendicitis operation. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Wegele, 1151 Twenty-seventh st.

Des Moines in the Services
Phyllis Reynolds, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward H. Wegele, 1151 Twenty-seventh st., has been given an honorable discharge from the WAVES, and has returned home. She was formerly stationed in the communications department of the Livermore, Cal., naval air station. Her husband, Lieut. C.M. Reynolds, navy fighter pilot, is overseas with a Hellcat squadron.
