Pvt. June C. Reed, daughter of Mrs. Carl W. Reed, 449 Fifty-sixth st., has been assigned to the WAC detachment, Oak Ridge, Tenn.

Miss Reed Returns From Europe
After serving for two years overseas with the women's army corps Miss June Reed arrived home Wednesday night to spend the summer with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Reed, 16 Thirty-fourth st.
Miss Reed spent a year in Paris and a year in Brussels in the office of the commanding general. She landed Apr 20 and enroute to Des Moines visited in Washington, D.C. with her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Reed.

Cresco - Staff Sgt. June Reed of the WAC, and her mother, Mrs. Carl Reed of Des Moines, have been visiting relatives and friends here. Staff Sgt Reed is on furlough after 2 years spent in France and Belgium.
