Betty O'Laughlin, yeoman, third class, in the WAVES, has been graduated from training school at Stillwater, Okla., and is now home on leave visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs H. O'Laughlin, 260 Carpenter ave. Yeoman O'Laughlin will report to the personnel office at Great Lakes, Ill. after her visit.

To Take Vows In September
Mr. and Mrs. H. O'Laughlin, 2609 Carpenter ave., announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Betty, to Leland H. Abarr, son of Dr. A.J. Abarr of Clearfield.
The ceremony will be read Sept 6 in the chapel of University Christian church.
Miss O'Laughlin, a graduate of North High school, is employed by Westinghouse Electric Supply Co.
Mr. Abarr, a graduate of Clearfield High school, and a veteran of 36 months overseas service, now is employed by KMA radio station in Shenandoah. He will resume studies at Drake University in the fall.
