Ten young women left yesterday for Hunter college, the Bronx, N.Y., to start their basic training in the WAVES. They enlisted during the special drive in the quad-cities last month.

Bride on May 11

Miss Moyle Moore of Davenport, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Moore of Lineville, Ia., has selected Saturday May, 11 for her marriage to James Bright of Lineville. The vows will be spoken at a quiet ceremony at the home of Miss Moore's sister, Mrs. Earl Wells of 1522 Wilkes avenue, Davenport with whom she resides.
Both Miss Moore and Mr. Bright are graduates of the Lineville high school. The former attended the A.I.C. here and received her discharge from the WAVES after serving for two and a half years. She was stationed in Washington, D.C. Miss Moore is now a student at Marycrest college.
Mr. Bright received his release from the army last fall after three and a half years in the service, a part of which time was spent in Italy. He is now enrolled at the Iowa State college majoring in chemical engineering.
