CURLS IN DRYDOCK
The rain here Monday was light but sufficient to dampen a lady's curl and take the shape from a WAVE's hat so Helen Gallagher, W. Va.; Norette Franssens, Minn.; and Janice Larkin, seaman first class, Dubuque, Ia., put their curls in drydock under havelocks (rain hats to civilians).

IN CHARGE OF OFFICE -- Sp R 3c Romona Colucci is in charge of the local WAVE recruiting station during the absences of Ens Ethel Vessey who is in Chicago on leave. She will return Monday. Sp R 3c Janice Larkin of Dubuque has been sent from the Omaha office to aid Sp Colucci.
