Iowa WAVES Sparkle At Ottumwa Air Base
Nancy Lankford of Mount Pleasant, Ia., a yeoman, checks some paper work with Capt. Bradford E. Grow, commanding officer at the station. Captain Grow, an expert flier, came to Ottumwa from active duty in the field. He was operations officer on the Air Craft Carrier Wasp when it was sunk and was in the water three hours.
