Flora Theresa Lambert, second lieutenant of the army nurses corps, now stationed at Teheran, Iran, and a daughter of Mrs. Herbert Lee Crosby, 1822 E. Fourteenth st, became the bride of Lieut. James Edge of the British Royal Engineers, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Edge of Blackpool, England, Feb. 24 at Teheran. The Rev. Mr. Eldon read the military service at 10:30 a.m. at the American Mission church.
Accompanying the bride to the altar was her commanding officer, Colonel McDill, and Major Payton of the British Army was best man.
A dinner followed at the Drake hotel.
The bride is a graduate of the University hospital at Iowa City, Ia., and of the Margaret Hague Maternity hospital in New Jersey. Before enlisting two years ago she served as supervisor for one year at Broadlawns General hospital and for one year at St. Mary's hospital at Madison, Wis. She has been stationed with the army nurses corps at Cairo, Jerusalem, Palestine and Iran.
Lieutenant Edge, who before his enlistment, was an architect at Blackpool, England, has served in the British army for four and a half years, being stationed at Baghdad, India and now in charge of Indian troops at Iran.
