Eunice Irene Koenig Jones was born Oct. 28, 1917 to Louis Anton and May A. Koenig. She died Aug. 26, 2015 and is buried in Missouri Veterans Cemetery at Springfield, Springfield, MO.
Chief Petty Officer Koenig served with the U.S. Coast Guard in World War II. She was married to Alvin Jones. Alvin served with the U.S. Air Force, achieving the rank of Chief MSgt. and served in Korea and Vietnam.
