Lt. Mary Kelsh has been spending part of her leave with Miss Vera Finley, 127 West State. She recently arrived in the United States after 39 months in the South Pacific where she service in Australia and Hollandia.
Lt. Kelsh's last assignment was in the Island of Moratai, south of the Philippines. While there she was associated with Lt. Rebecca L Schmidt and her twin sister. Lt. Schmidt's picture was in the Globe Gazette on Sept. 27 as the nurse of Gen. Tojo.
Lt. Kelsh is a graduate of the Mercy hospital school of nursing and practiced her profession at the hospital before enlisting in the Army nurse corps.
At present Lt. Kelsh has gone to Corwith to visit there.
