MEN AND WOMEN IN SERVICE
Dorothy Johnson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Johnson, Bronson, Ia., has been sworn into the WAVES with an ensign’s commission. She is a graduate of Morningside College and now is teaching at Waverly, Ia., while awaiting call to service.

Our Neighbors in the Service
Bronson, Iowa – Dorothy Oda Johnson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry J. Johnson of Bronson, has been commissioned an ensign in the Waves and assigned to active duty. Ensign Johnson has been stationed at the naval reserve school, Northampton, Mass. She received her B.A. degree at Morningside college and taught school before joining the Waves.
