Mary Janice Prevo Hummel was born Dec. 24, 1916 to Clyde E.and Blanche Steele Prevo. She died Jan. 26, 2008 and is buried in Red Oak Cemetery, Tipton, IA.
Mary served in World War II with the U.S. Navy WAVES at the Armed Guard Center in New Orleans, LA. She was married to Richard Stanley Hummel who served with the U.S. Army in World War II.
