Mrs. Spencer has a Visitor
Mrs. Jack Spencer, 2652 Forty-seventh St., left, and her guest, Edna M. Haney, seaman, first class, of the WAVES, stationed in Washington, D.C., have much in common, for besides being long-time friends and neighbors, their husbands, Private Spencer and Sergt. R.F. Haney, are serving in the South Pacific. Mrs. Haney arrived Thursday and will leave Wednesday for Washington, Ia., for a short visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. E.H., Messer, before returning to Des Moines for the remainder of her leave.
