Iowa Falls -- Miss Devetta Gehrke has enlisted in the Waves, and will report at Hunter college, New York City, later in the summer for training. Miss Gehrke, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E.O. Gehrke, is a graduate of Ellsworth Junior college and was employed in a defense plant in Wichita, Kan. for several months. Recently she has been employed as office secretary for Dr. L. M. Henry.

Iowa Falls -- Miss DeVetta Gehrke, seaman first class in the Waves, has been assigned to duty at Camp Elliott, Cal. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. O. Gehrke and has completed training at Hunter college n New York City, and at Iowa State Teachers college in Cedar Falls.
