A letter from Misses Anna Fox and Erma Friedrich, who joined the Waves a short time ago, says they are at Hunter's college, Bronx, New York, and have received their uniforms of apprentice seaman and will take five weeks training there.

Fairbank -- Erma Friedrich, daughter of Julius Friedrich of Fairbank, and Anna Fox, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Fox, also of Fairbank, who enlisted in the Waves and left for New York, June 12, both have finished their boot training at Hunter college, Bronx, N.Y. Miss Friedrich received her advancement to seaman first class, and will enter Great Lakes hospital for six weeks training as nurses aide. Miss Fox also received seaman first class rating and was sent to Corpus Christi, Tex., as typist.
