Lt. Mildred Faber Serving Overseas
Word has been received recently by George and Adeline Faber of West Bend that their sister, Lt. Mildred K. Faber, has reached her destination abroad and is well and happy.
Lt. Faber is a 1942 graduate of St. Mary's hospital at Rochester, Minn. Before entering the army in October, 1943, she spent eight months in California. After being stationed at Shick General hospital at Clinton and Salina, Kans., she was sent to New York City, N.Y., for a short time before going overseas.
Mildred is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Theo Faber of West Bend. Besides her sister and brother at West Bend, she has a sister, Mrs. Nicholas Weybert, at Bode, and a brother, Melvin Faber, of Algona.

Lt. Mildred K. Faber has been promoted from a second lieutenant to a first. She is a present in southern France where she will be for several months before her next assignment.
