GETS NEW RATING -- Miss Marjorie Dirksen has been advanced to pharmacist's mate 2/c in the WAVES, according to word received by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.W. Dirksen, 620 Washington N.W., from Camp Elliott, San Diego, where Miss Dirksen is in the main dispensary. She took her boot camp at Hunter college and her hospital training at Great Lakes, Ill. Before entering the WAVES in June, 1943, Miss Dirksen was employed by the First National bank.
