Des Moines in the Services
Two Des Moines women were enrolled recently in the WAVES yeoman training school at Iowa State Teachers college, Cedar Falls, Ia. They are Marcella B. DeCarlo, wife of Arthur DeCarlo, 3819 Second ave. and Virginia H Phipps, wife of Sergt. Robert D. Phipps, 4115 Cambridge st.

Des Moines in the Services
Lt. (j.g.) Sarah E. Dawson, daughter of Mrs. Jennie K. Dawson, 1211 Twenty-first st., and Marcella B. DeCarlo, yeoman, third class, daughter of Mrs. Edith Bougsty, 3819 Second ave., were discharged from the WAVES at Washington, D.C.
