Des Moines in the Services
Dolores Costanzo, 21, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. N.A. Costanzo, 3113 Clark st., recently enlisted in the WAVES and will leave Tuesday for Hunter college, New York City. She is a graduate of St. Joseph academy and was employed at the Des Moines Ordnance plant before entering the service.

Delores Costanzo, Des Moines, a seaman, first class at the U.S. Naval Air Station, Ottumwa, recently pitched her barracks softball team to the station WAVES title when barracks No. 18 defeated No. 17, 11 to 5. Errors were responsible for the large score.
