AIR WACS BEGIN TRAINING
Acquainting themselves with the intricate parts of an airplane motor are Geraldine M. Lund (left) , of Mason City, Ia., and Dorothy J. Connor, of Washington, Ia., who have begun six weeks of basic training as Air-WACs at Fort Des Moines. Miss Connor is the daughter of Maj. Walter G. Connor, with the army air forces at Kearns Field, Utah. A brother, Lieut. Robert Connor also in the air forces, is stationed at Bluethenthal Field, N.C.
