Four Des Moines women Wednesday completed a five-week indoctrination course at the WAVE naval school at Cedar Falls, Ia., They are Geneva G. Bell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. P.J. Bell, 3701 E. Twenty-fifth st.; Margaret A. Brown, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. Brown, 3940 Twelfth st.; Eunice L. Dick, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. Dick, 2439 Capitol ave.; and Dorothy J Dawson, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. L.E. Dawson, 630 Forty-eighth st.

Des Moines in the Services
Miss Margaret A. Brown, a member of the WAVES, this week visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dwight P. Brown, 3940 Twelfth st. She is stationed at Washington, D.C. Her brother, Naval Radioman, Philip N. Brown, was killed June 24 in an airplane accident at Long Island, NY.

Veterans Study 'G.I. Booklet'
Margaret A. Brown, 3940 Twelfth st., Des Moines and Robert Hedges, 6501 University ave., Des Moines, look over the "GI. Booklet" prepared by The Des Moines Register and Tribune to assist veterans in taking advantage of rights, privileges and benefits accrued by them for service in the armed forces. Miss Brown, who was in the navy for one year, and Hedges, in the army air corps for 15 months, are students at Drake university, studying under the G.I. education benefits.
