Two Des Moines women have enlisted in the WAVES and will leave Feb. 6 for Hunter college, N.Y. They are Miss Mary Blaskovich, 1300 E. Court ave. and Miss Nadyne Pettey, 1559 Twenty-fourth st.

Mary Blaskovich, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Blaskovich, 1300 E. Court ave. and Nadyne Pettey, daughter of Mrs. Nettie E. Pettey, 1559 Twenty-fourth st., both in the WAVES, have completed their training at Hunter college, New York City, and have been promoted to seaman second class. They are stationed now at Oklahoma A & M college at Stillwater, Okla. for specialized training.

Four Des Moines women were recently graduated from the naval training school for yeoman at Stillwater, Okla.., ad have reported for active duty. They are:

Marjorie V. Way, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred H. Way, 808 Guthrie ave., to the naval supply depot at Oakland, Cal.

Mary O. Blaskovich, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Blaskovich, 1300 E. Court ave., to Camp Elliot, San Diego Cal.

Nadyne E. Pettey, daughter of Mrs. Nettie E. Pettey, 1559 Twenty-fourth st. to New Orleans, La.

Bernice R. Goldstick, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S. A. Goldstick, 1501 Second ave., to the executive office at Washington, D.C.
