NURSE IN BELGIUM
First Lieut. Bunetta Bixby of Estherville, army nurse, is now in Belgium, where she says everyone is very busy. In a recent letter received by her parents, Lieutenant Bixby says everyone is kept busy moving along with the advancing forces. She said she wishes everything could be as beautiful as the hills in Belgium.
Lieutenant Bixby was sent first to Ireland, then to England, where she taught surgical nursing to invasion units. On June 13, she was transferred to France.
