Miss Frederica Mary Bedard of San Antonio, Tex., formerly of Waterloo, has enrolled in the women's army auxiliary corps, at San Antonio, and expects to be called into active service in about two weeks. Miss Bedard, daughter of Mrs. Josephine Bedard, 1122 Hawthorne avenue, Waterloo, is a graduate of St Mary's of Mt. Carmel High school at Eagle Center, Ia., and had been employed by Rath Packing company. Her brother-in-law, C.W. Decker, is a chief petty officer in the naval service at Farragut, Ida.

Returned to her station at Bergstrom army air field, Austin, Tex., after spending a furlough with her mother, Mrs. Josephine Bedard, 609 1/2 Commercial street, is Cpl. Mary Bedard. Corporal Bedard is a Wac clerk typist and works in the Wac orderly room at Bergstrom field.

Cpl. Mary Bedard of Wac Stationed in Rheims, France
Mrs. Josephine Bedard, 609 1/2 Commercial street, has received information from her daughter, Wac Cpl. Mary Bedard, that she has arrived safely in Rheims, France, and is assigned to a cadre unit there.
Corporal Bedard, before transferring overseas duty, was stationed with the women's army corps for two years at Bergstrom field, Austin, Tex.

Cpl. Frederica Bedard, daughter of Mrs. Josephine Bedard, 609 Commercial street, is a member of a Wac unit serving in the assembly area command in Germany in redeployment of American troops. Corporal Bedard entered service in February, 1943, going overseas last April.
