ON FURLOUGH
Pvt. Lillian Applegate is home on a 20-day furlough from Camp Kilmer, N.J., where she is stationed as a surgical technician in the hospital which is a redistribution center for veterans returned from overseas. She is spending her furlough with her mother, Mrs. Mrs. Alice Johnson, and her daughter Betty Jean Applegate, who reside at 1351 Christie St. Pvt. Applegate entered the service on Nov. 28, 1944, and trained at Des Moines before going to Camp Kilmer. Prior to entering the service she was employed at the Zimmerman Steel Casting, Co.
