Ralph John Zolnosky was born May 19, 1916 to Allen R. and Hilda L. Hammond Zolnosky. He died June 23, 2010 and is buried in the Oakland Cemetery, Sac City, IA.
Ralph graduated with the Webster City, IA class of 1934 and continued his education at the Illinois College of Optometry, Chicago, IL, graduating with honors in 1941. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1942, working at the Fitzsimmons Hospital in Denver, CO and the Medical Dept. 174th General Hospital in Normandy, France. He was honorably discharged in Jan. 1946 at the rank of Sgt. technician fourth grade.
